Romesh Ranganathan’s weekly hip hop show on BBC Radio 2 has been nominated for the prestigious Music Week Awards 2023 in the Radio Show category. For The Love Of Hip Hop is an original Folded Wing production and was commissioned by the BBC in 2021 as a four-part series. The second series went weekly in 2022 – a first for hip hop on the nation’s most popular radio station.

The show has been nominated along with Elton John’s Rocket Hours on Apple Music 1, BBC Radio 1’s Rickie, Melvin & Charlie, and Jamz Supernova’s BBC 6 Music show. Jamz also presents The Selector, a Folded Wing production for the British Council which is broadcast to 40 countries and has four million listeners.
