Welcome to The Listening Post, where each week we get an insight into the radio listening habits of a guest contributor. Once each person has made their picks, we ask them to nominate someone for the following week's Listening Post...
Last week, after being nominated by John Ryan, Director of 2ZY (a radio production and consultancy company based in Manchester), Sam Walker, a broadcaster for networks including BBC Radio 5 live and BBC Radio Manchester chose her selections.
Sam's choices included NPR's 'This American Life', 'The World Won't Listen' on Laut.fm and 'Chain Reaction' on BBC Radio 4. You can view her full selections here.
For this week's Listening Post Sam has chosen her 5 live 'Sunday Breakfast' co-presenter Chris Warburton to take on the challenge.
As well as presenting 'Sunday Breakfast' with Sam, Chris also presents 'Saturday Breakfast', as well as 5 live's 'In Short'. He's also a stand in presenter for 'The Early Show' on BBC 6 Music.

1. The Dollop
"Since a friend recommended 'The Dollop' it has become mandatory listening. Comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds tell some of the most insane dollops of American history in a ridiculously entertaining and spontaneous way. Dave has a real skill in picking out the perceived wisdom of historical moments and then pointing out quite how ludicrous the whole thing was. Hilarious, informative and sometimes alarming... not to be missed."
My weekly must listen
2. Gilles Peterson 'Worldwide' - BBC Radio 6 Music
"Ever since my older brother blasted the early days of Kiss 100 FM down the landing from his bedroom, I've listened to Gilles Peterson. 25 or so years later and his 'Worldwide' show is still a weekly must listen. In jazz, electronica, hip hop, house and the rest, Gilles has always led the way and influenced my music taste more than anyone. In 6 Music he has found his natural network home."

Intimate and seriously entertaining interviews
3. The Adam Buxton Podcast
"I bet I'm the only person to have suggested this right!? Dr Buckles is on fine form with a great roll call of guests. He has a knack of finding comedy in everyday things and is obviously a very funny man but Adam is clearly a very easy person to get on with too and that makes for intimate and seriously entertaining interviews."
Super creative hour-long mixes
4. Solid Steel Radio Show
"If you had told the teenage me who paid a fortune for imported cassettes from America, that in future years I would be able to hear super creative hour long mixes from an eclectic range of DJ's and producers for free, I would have ran from 'Our Price' in Haywards Heath jumping in delight and waving my top around my head. The original Ninja Tune heads host mixes by everyone including Four Tet, Jungle, and Caribou in recent months."
Topics you purposely may not have thought about
5. Stuff You Should Know
"I guess this is about as original as saying 'there's a really good TV show you should watch, it's called 'Breaking Bad.'' Sure, it's one of the most downloaded podcasts in the world but that's because it's really good. The title gives the game away but Josh and Chuck have a way of taking you through topics you've probably purposely not given much thought to, and in a very entertaining way."

Next Week's Listening Post:
Chris: "I'd like to nominate Chris 'The Hawk' Hawkins who presents the early show on BBC 6 Music. When Chris and I used to have the chance to waffle on about music on an old 5 live show I hosted, he used to dismiss my taste as 'all that funky stuff you like'. Now I have the honour of filling in for Chris on his 6 Music show he still says exactly the same thing. As part of the 6 Music furniture his taste must of course be impeccable, so I'm intrigued to see what Chris has up his sleeve."
Check back next Friday for Chris' selections...
