Read moreAttracting over 20,000 music-fans each year, Cheltenham Jazz Festival has become one of the country’s best-loved jazz festivals. Folded Wing have been broadcasting backstage from the festival for the past 5 years and it has become a big highlight of the year for listeners of Jamie Cullum's BBC Radio 2 show.
On Saturday from 3-6pm, Jamie will once again be taking over Dermot O'Leary's slot on BBC Radio 2 to present 3 hours of music, including sessions and interviews with artists such as Alice Russell, guitarist Remi Harris and GoGo Penguin.
Jamie will also have highlights from the festival on his usual slot on BBC Radio 2 this coming Tuesday from 7-8pm including an interview with afrobeat legend Tony Allen and Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald.
This year Jamie is a guest Director of the festival and has hand-picked some of the artists performing. He will be performing himself alongside show favourites Medeski, Martin and Wood on Sunday evening.
